UD info Targets Industrial Storage with Customizable SD Card Solutions
New Taipei City-based UD info is rolling out a line of industrial-grade SD and microSD cards, aiming to solve the supply chain volatility and firmware limitations inherent in consumer-grade memory. The company focuses on fixed bill-of-materials support and deep-level customization for specialized vertical markets.
The company offers extensive hardware-level configuration, including LBA and PID/VID customization, alongside S.M.A.R.T. health monitoring and secure erase capabilities. To ensure consistency across the product lifecycle, UD info provides fixed BOM commitments, preventing the silent component swaps that often disrupt industrial deployments. The lineup features 3D TLC options reaching 256GB, as well as 3D pSLC variants capable of operating in extreme temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. Samples are slated for release in August 2026.
