In Malaysia, the initiative has gained significant traction by partnering with major players like the 800-outlet beverage chain Tealive, alongside local venues such as An Viet, Flaky, and the popular music hub TwoTone. These collaborations utilize the9bit’s AI marketing platform, creating a recurring revenue stream for the company while providing measurable growth for retailers. Similar momentum is visible in Vietnam, where Highlands Coffee, with over 850 locations, has begun activations in Hanoi.
The9 Aggressively Scales AI-Driven O2O Network in Southeast Asia
With 41 brand partnerships secured across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam, The9 is betting on an AI-powered offline-to-online strategy to bridge digital assets with physical retail. The company is currently vetting 127 additional brands, signaling an aggressive push to monetize its marketing-services platform through high-footfall consumer environments.

Operations in Indonesia, specifically within the Yogyakarta university hub, highlight the platform's reach among younger demographics. Partner venues including Yamie Panda and Koet Coffee reported increased foot traffic and brand awareness following campaign events. During these periods, the9bit platform averaged 120,000 daily active users, an indicator of the model's ability to drive physical engagement. This expansion has correlated with a 35% rise in the $9BIT token price since late May, climbing from US$0.037 to US$0.050. Following this regional progress, The9 intends to export its O2O framework into European and American markets.
