A pocket-sized MIDI controller designed to bridge the gap between professional sound production and social interaction is now available for pre-order. Created by Material Instinct, the Beeper Δ8 pairs tactile hardware with a collaborative app, allowing creators to generate music and synchronized visuals from virtually anywhere.
CEO Aaron Smulktis describes the tool as a response to the need for accessible, collaborative music technology that avoids the complexity of traditional setups. The system supports real-time multi-device collaboration, enabling users to sync sessions and share instrument configurations across iOS and Android platforms. While the companion application launches for free in August 2026, physical units are scheduled to begin shipping in early 2027.
