This platform serves the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture, specifically targeting the Tracking Layer mission. By automating the fusion of diverse data sources, the software allows operators to process time-sensitive intelligence into actionable cues. The contract marks a transition for MapLarge from previous development work with SpaceWERX to active participation in a national security priority.
MapLarge Secures SDA Contract for Missile-Tracking Data Platform
The U.S. Space Development Agency has awarded Atlanta-based MapLarge a fixed-price Other Transaction Agreement to develop a Tasking and Data Fusion Platform. The initiative aims to integrate commercial sensor feeds with government data streams, creating a unified intelligence picture capable of supporting high-stakes missile-defense operations.

CEO Lynwood Bishop stated that the company’s architecture is designed to bridge the gap between incoming sensor data and tactical execution. Founded in 2009, MapLarge specializes in operational AI platforms that process live location and sensor metrics. The agency’s decision to adopt this technology reflects a broader shift toward integrating commercial capabilities to maintain decision advantage against rapidly evolving threats.
