Bybit Expands Zero-Interest Borrowing to 24 Crypto Assets
Bybit has overhauled its Unified Trading Account framework, extending interest-free borrowing privileges to 24 major assets. The move aims to lower funding costs for traders using Perpetual and Futures products by eliminating interest charges on automatic borrowing triggered by unrealized losses, provided the debt remains within specific VIP-tiered limits.

Under the updated policy, traders avoid interest expenses when automatic borrowing is activated by market volatility affecting their open positions. This structure is intended to improve capital efficiency, allowing users to maintain or adjust positions without the friction of ongoing borrowing fees. VIP account holders receive higher borrowing thresholds, with limits calculated independently for each account and subaccount. These interest-free benefits apply strictly to automatic borrowing scenarios linked to unrealized losses; manual borrowing, Spot Margin, and Options trading remain subject to standard interest rates once limits are exceeded.
