Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE executed the trades on Nasdaq Stockholm, securing the shares at an average price of 96.87 SEK each. The program, which began on April 23, 2026, is slated to run through March 31, 2027. Ericsson’s Board of Directors intends to propose the cancellation of these repurchased shares at the 2027 Annual General Meeting, excluding those reserved for existing employee incentive plans.
Ericsson Continues Multi-Billion Buyback Push
Between August 3 and August 7, 2026, Ericsson repurchased four million Class B shares, committing 387.5 million SEK to the effort. This acquisition marks the latest phase in a broader 15-billion SEK buyback initiative, which the company launched earlier this spring to return capital to its shareholders.

Following these transactions, Ericsson’s total treasury holdings have reached 95,169,316 Class B shares. The company maintains a total share count of 3,371,351,735, comprising both Class A and Class B listings. All activity complies with the European Union’s Market Abuse Regulation and the associated Safe Harbour provisions.
