Embraer Hits Record Revenue as Profitability Forecasts Rise

Embraer S.A. reported a record-breaking US$2.235 billion in second-quarter revenue for 2026, marking a 23% year-over-year increase. Bolstered by strong sales and an extraordinary tax credit, the Brazilian aerospace manufacturer has upwardly revised its adjusted EBIT margin guidance for the full year to between 10.0% and 10.6%.

The company’s quarterly performance was driven by the delivery of 65 aircraft, including 20 commercial jets and 45 executive jets, representing a 7% increase compared to the same period last year. This operational success contributed to a firm order backlog of US$34.5 billion, the highest level in the company's history and a 16% jump from 2025. Adjusted free cash flow reached US$401 million, supported by robust pre-downpayment inflows and improved operational efficiency.

Financial outlooks for the remainder of the year remain largely stable regarding revenue, which is projected to stay between US$8.2 billion and US$8.5 billion. However, management significantly boosted its free cash flow target to US$400 million or higher. The revised EBIT margin reflects a combination of a US$68 million tax credit, the removal of specific U.S. import tariffs scheduled for the second half of the year, and a generally improved business environment.
