HarbourVest Partners, which oversees more than $160 billion in assets, has tapped Guido Lombardi to spearhead its private wealth business across France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Southern Europe. Based in London, Lombardi moves from DWS Group to manage relationships with private banks and multi-family offices. Ivan Pascual, head of EMEA private wealth, noted that the hire addresses the intensifying appetite for private equity and credit as core components of long-term wealth strategies in the region.
ZEDRA is pivoting to meet increased demand for pension risk transfer services by promoting Payam Kazemian to lead the division. Kazemian, a veteran of Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, has been with ZEDRA since 2021. His mandate involves guiding trustees and sponsors through the technicalities of pension de-risking and end-game planning, a sector ZEDRA identifies as increasingly sophisticated.
