PhilWeb Net Income Jumps 237% as Digital Gaming Revenue Soars
PhilWeb Corporation posted a 237% quarter-on-quarter spike in net income, reaching ₱47 million for the second quarter of 2026. The surge, driven by a 96% year-on-year revenue expansion, underscores the company's shift toward scaling its digital gaming infrastructure and integrating new AI-driven operational tools across its regional network.

President Brian Ng attributed the performance to the company's focus on empowering tier-one licensed operators and global content providers. Alongside the financial results, PhilWeb has moved to modernize its governance by electing strategic investor Lance Y. Gokongwei to its Board of Directors. The firm is now prioritizing the deployment of AI-enabled infrastructure designed to enhance fraud detection, regulatory compliance, and customer service efficiency. These systems currently support major industry partners, including Okada Manila, Hann Resort, and Newport World Resorts, as the company seeks to cement its role as a primary technology provider for the region’s regulated gaming sector.
