Twenty veteran-owned startups will soon refine their business models in Boston as the PenFed Foundation for Military Heroes brings its entrepreneur incubator to Massachusetts. Running from October 14 to 16, the program offers early-stage founders a structured path from initial concept to a launch-ready business plan.
Retired U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Terry Williams, director of the program, noted that the curriculum is designed to leverage the resilience and problem-solving skills veterans cultivate during their military service. To qualify, applicants must be veterans or military spouses based in the Boston area with a developed idea or a working prototype.
