Martin Brown to Retire as Continuum Managing Partner

After a decade of leadership at the helm of Plymouth-based Continuum, founder Martin Brown will step down at the end of August. His departure triggers a transition for the M&G Advice firm, with non-executive director Jim Reeve stepping in as interim managing partner starting in September, pending regulatory approval.

Brown leaves behind a firm he established in 2014, grounded in a relationship-led philosophy that currently supports more than 550 professional advisors across the UK. His career spans over 30 years in the advice sector, including senior roles at Openwork and Positive Solutions. To ensure continuity, Brown will remain with the business through the end of the year to assist with the handover process.

Jim Reeve, who has been involved with Continuum since its inception, will lead the firm while the board conducts a search for a permanent successor. Ross Liston, CEO of M&G Advice, credited Brown for fostering a strong advisor community and a culture centered on client outcomes. Continuum remains a wholly owned subsidiary of M&G Advice, which provides retirement and wealth solutions to its client base.
