The acquisition centers on incorporating Helix’s clinical signal detection and root-cause analytics into the EnableComp platform. While conventional audit software typically searches for predetermined errors, the new capabilities allow the system to identify discrepancies between coding and actual payer reimbursements autonomously. This shift enables hospitals to address complex, low-value claims that were previously deemed too costly to audit manually.
Frank Forte, CEO of EnableComp, stated that the technology moves beyond standard engines to provide genuine intelligence, effectively preventing future losses rather than merely recovering past ones. Zack Higbie, founder of Helix Advisory, joins the executive team as vice president of Revenue Recovery Products to oversee the integration. Early implementations have reportedly generated net revenue improvements exceeding 2% for participating healthcare providers.
