This expansion follows the June 2026 acquisition of Isola Group, a producer of copper-clad laminates, and the 2025 relaunch of the Camden Copper facility in South Carolina.
Principal Mineral Acquires Conductive Group to Bolster U.S. Supply Chains
Dallas-based Principal Mineral has acquired the Cleveland, Utah-based Conductive Group, a manufacturer specializing in electromagnetic interference shielding and conductive composites. The deal marks the firm's latest move to consolidate the domestic midstream supply chain for aerospace, defense, and high-performance electronics infrastructure.

Adam Johnson, CEO of Principal Mineral, stated that the acquisition provides proven technology for the company's growing advanced materials platform. The firm is actively targeting domestic capabilities to reduce reliance on external suppliers for AI infrastructure and telecommunications. Wes Spurlock, Chief Operating Officer, noted that the company plans to scale Conductive Group’s existing shielding and composite technologies to meet the needs of the aerospace and telecommunications sectors.
