Agile Defense Lands $250 Million Navy Logistics Modernization Contract
The Department of War has tapped Agile Defense for a $250 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract aimed at overhauling the U.S. Navy’s logistics IT infrastructure. This agreement tasks the McLean-based firm with accelerating software deployment and improving data integration across the service’s complex supply chain networks.
Agile Defense enters this partnership with a track record in large-scale logistics, notably its work on the Mobility Air Forces Command and Control systems for the U.S. Transportation Command. In that capacity, the firm managed the infrastructure and operations for global airlift and aerial refueling missions. Now with a workforce of over 1,800 people, the company will apply those same digital transformation and AI capabilities to modernize Navy-specific workflows.
