The deal combines Thermogenics' broad service footprint with Halmar’s deep manufacturing expertise in refractory and combustion components. By absorbing the Louisville facility, Thermogenics gains access to one of the industry's largest aftermarket parts inventories, a move designed to cut lead times for industrial and commercial clients across the United States and Canada.
Thermogenics Acquires Halmar Boiler Parts to Boost North American Supply
Seventy-five years after its founding, the Kentucky-based Halmar Boiler Parts is joining the Thermogenics network. The acquisition of the Louisville manufacturer, announced Tuesday, allows the Aurora-based boiler solutions provider to integrate an extensive aftermarket inventory and same-day shipping capabilities into its existing North American operations.

Arif Quraishi, CEO of Thermogenics, stated that the integration aims to accelerate parts delivery through expanded manufacturing and distribution strength. Despite the change in ownership, Halmar will retain its brand name and the existing Louisville team. Mark Barrens, who led the family business founded by his father in 1950, noted that the partnership provides the necessary capital to sustain the company’s long-standing commitment to rapid service for another generation. General Manager Terry Eagle emphasized that day-to-day operations remain unchanged, with the added benefit of increased investment in technology and local staffing.
