Metalla Royalty & Streaming Hits Record Second Quarter Revenue

Metalla Royalty & Streaming reported record financial results for the second quarter of 2026, with revenue reaching $5.2 million and Adjusted EBITDA climbing to $3.9 million. The company’s growth was fueled by increased output from its producing assets and the start of inaugural royalty payments from Agnico Eagle Mines' Amalgamated Kirkland project.

The company’s performance marks a 94% revenue increase compared to the same period in 2025, when it reported $2.7 million. Net income for the quarter reached $1.2 million, a reversal from the $1.7 million net loss recorded in the second quarter of last year. Metalla attributed these gains to higher contributions from its portfolio, which included 1,173 attributable Gold Equivalent Ounces (GEOs) at an average realized price of $4,504 per ounce.

CEO Brett Heath emphasized the strategic value of the Amalgamated Kirkland project, which began contributing to cash flow during the quarter. Looking forward, the company remains focused on its development pipeline, particularly the Côté gold mine. IAMGOLD recently updated the mineral resource estimate for Côté and Gosselin to a combined 20.3 million ounces, with a new mine plan expected in the fourth quarter. Metalla continues to project annual payments on 3,500 to 4,500 attributable GEOs for 2026, with production expected to be weighted toward the second half of the year as key assets scale up operations.
