Clark will report directly to Keith Glenfield, global head of investments. His new remit includes managing a global team that spans key regions, with Mike Troth overseeing Asia, Elena Mortemore leading the Americas, and Robert Stemmons heading EMEA wealth planning operations.
Adam Clark Tapped to Lead Citi Wealth Planning
Adam Clark is joining Citi Wealth as the new global head of wealth planning, stepping into the New York-based role this November. Previously a senior executive at JP Morgan, Clark takes the reins from interim head Mike Troth to oversee the firm’s advisory strategy for ultra-high-net-worth clients worldwide.

Before this appointment, Clark spent years building a reputation in private banking, most recently serving as global head of trusts and estates at JP Morgan. During that tenure, he managed a 500-person team across 40 locations and specialized in complex cross-border family structures. His career foundation includes a seven-year stint at Goldman Sachs, where he acted as president of the Goldman Sachs Trust Company. With nearly three decades of experience in tax and estate strategy, Clark is expected to bolster Citi’s efforts to scale its advisory footprint for its wealthiest clientele.
