The platform utilizes ATLANT 3D's proprietary Direct Atomic Layer Processing technology to transform computational designs into functional hardware. By automating the transition from theoretical discovery to prototyping, the system addresses a persistent bottleneck in modern engineering where design, fabrication, and characterization often operate as fragmented, disconnected processes.
ATLANT 3D Unveils Physical AI Platform for Atomic-Scale Manufacturing
Copenhagen-based ATLANT 3D has launched the NANOFABRICATOR PRO, a system designed to bridge the gap between digital AI predictions and physical material production. By integrating autonomous fabrication with experimental validation, the platform aims to accelerate the development of semiconductors, quantum technologies, and advanced materials through a closed-loop, atomic-scale workflow.
To ensure commercial viability and scalability, the company partnered with Automated Industrial Robotics to produce the units in the United States. This collaboration allows the system to meet SEMI-compliant standards, making it suitable for high-stakes industrial environments. CEO Dr. Maksym Plakhotnyuk describes the move as the foundation for a broader 'Physical AI Infrastructure for Matter,' meant to enable self-driving research platforms with integrated metrology. As the company expands its U.S. presence, it is actively seeking strategic partnerships to scale these autonomous foundries for next-generation industrial applications.
