The platform addresses a persistent bottleneck in modern science: the inability to quickly validate AI-generated predictions. Traditional workflows suffer from fragmented processes that separate design from characterization, creating significant delays in bringing new technologies to market. NANOFABRICATOR PRO consolidates these steps into a single, SEMI-compliant environment, allowing for atomic-scale manufacturing and immediate experimental feedback.
ATLANT 3D Unveils NANOFABRICATOR PRO for AI-Driven Material Creation
Copenhagen-based ATLANT 3D has launched NANOFABRICATOR PRO, a platform designed to bridge the gap between AI-generated material discovery and physical production. By integrating Direct Atomic Layer Processing with autonomous robotics, the system aims to accelerate the transition from digital design to functional semiconductor and quantum technology prototypes.

Developed in collaboration with Automated Industrial Robotics (AIR), the unit is manufactured in the United States to ensure scalability for industrial applications. CEO Dr. Maksym Plakhotnyuk noted that the system serves as the cornerstone for what the company terms Physical AI Infrastructure for Matter. By embedding metrology directly into the fabrication loop, the platform provides a foundation for self-driving laboratories capable of rapid material translation. As the company expands its footprint, it is actively courting strategic partners to refine these autonomous capabilities for advanced packaging and next-generation electronic components.
