Financial Supervisory Commission Chairman Jin-lung Peng confirmed that the event will center on the theme "From Tech Island to Capital Hub," emphasizing Taiwan’s integration into global supply chains and its rising demand for sophisticated wealth management. The program is set to balloon in scope, featuring 12 core events and over 30 series sessions hosted by more than 30 banks and asset management firms.
Taiwan Weeks 2026 to Pivot from Tech Hub to Global Financial Center
With nearly 28,000 attendees recorded in its inaugural year, Taiwan Weeks returns from November 3 to 13, 2026. The government-backed initiative aims to cement the nation’s status as an Asian Asset Management Center, shifting the narrative from a regional semiconductor powerhouse to a central hub for global institutional capital.

Key discussions will track the intersection of artificial intelligence, exchange-traded funds, and financial resilience. A significant addition this year includes the Asian Corporate Governance Association’s 25th Annual Conference, marking the organization's first time hosting its flagship event in Taiwan. Regional outreach also remains a priority, with the Asian Asset Management Center Forum scheduled for November 6 in Kaohsiung to showcase the city's specialized investment zones. Meanwhile, the TiBOOST innovation program on November 10 intends to bridge the gap between AI startups and international venture capital, further aligning Taiwan's industrial strengths with its maturing financial landscape.
