The agreement marks a strategic push for both companies to reduce administrative friction in the healthcare system. By incorporating Vytalize Health’s clinical footprint—which includes 3,000 independent physicians under the IPANY banner—Curative is significantly bolstering its presence in the tri-state region. The collaboration removes the need for doctors to manage complex payment collections, allowing them to focus on value-based care rather than navigating billing roadblocks.
Curative and Vytalize Health Ink Northeast Network Expansion
Patients across the Northeast will face fewer financial hurdles under a new partnership between insurer Curative and provider platform Vytalize Health. The deal integrates the vast network of the Independent Practice Association of New York into Curative’s zero-copay, zero-deductible insurance model, aiming to streamline access to primary care.

Michael Ruiz, Northeast President at Vytalize Health, noted that the model allows physicians to prioritize patient outcomes over financial processing. David Van Houtte, Vice President of Network at Curative, emphasized that the expansion is a milestone in the company’s goal to eliminate out-of-pocket costs for members. Vytalize Health currently supports over 5,000 primary care providers nationwide, serving a patient base of 400,000 across 30 states. This integration ensures that Curative members can seek essential medical services without the risk of surprise billing, provided they complete an annual baseline health assessment.
