Continental Development Ventures spearheaded the transformation of the three-acre parcel, which was acquired from Capital University. The new development now houses 226 residential units ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Beyond the living spaces, the site integrates 11,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, alongside 12,500 square feet of offices and a 300-space parking garage.
Mayor Ben Kessler described the project as a generational investment for the city, noting its role in bolstering the walkability of the town center. The development process involved a complex public-private partnership, utilizing tax increment financing to support the infrastructure of the public garage. Coastal Ridge Real Estate, which manages the property, has already begun leasing, with amenities including a rooftop terrace, fitness center, and smart-home technology.
