WeCool Toys Secures Minecraft and Harry Potter Licensing Deals

Point Pleasant, New Jersey, serves as the launchpad for a new wave of sensory-focused play as WeCool Toys secures global licensing rights for Minecraft and Harry Potter. The manufacturer plans to integrate its signature slime and compound platforms into branded kits designed to reach store shelves by Fall 2026.

The expansion marks a strategic pivot for the New Jersey-based firm, which aims to bridge the gap between high-end sensory compounds and established pop-culture franchises. For the Minecraft collection, the company is deploying its Butter Cloudz platform, highlighted by a lime-scented Creeper Cube featuring bingsu bead textures and interactive block-style molds.

The Harry Potter range leans into the series' alchemical themes, offering cauldron-inspired slime sets that mimic iconic brews like Polyjuice Potion and Felix Felicis. Beyond chemistry-themed play, the lineup introduces a Hedwig-themed 3D sticker and card-making station. Jeff Osnato, president of WeCool Toys, noted that these partnerships target the company's core strength in creative play while tapping into two of the most active global fan communities.

These products are slated for a worldwide release in the Fall/Winter 2026 season. WeCool, a sister company to the merchandise giant Paladone, currently distributes its toy lines across more than 35 countries, leveraging an end-to-end manufacturing model to maintain its speed-to-market strategy.
