The project, situated in the historically significant Malargüe mining district, encompasses over 27,000 hectares and includes the site of Argentina's first uranium mine, which operated between 1955 and 1975. Beyond the copper findings, recent sampling returned values of up to 2.27% uranium, 708 g/t silver, and 1.27% vanadium. Management notes that these results support the exploration potential of the district, which has remained largely untouched by modern systematic drilling.
Jaguar Uranium Identifies 4-km Mineralization Trend in Argentina
Jaguar Uranium has confirmed high-grade copper mineralization at its Huemul project in Mendoza, Argentina, with assay results reaching up to 8.54% copper. The findings, derived from initial surface sampling, have delineated a four-kilometre-long corridor of potential mineralization that the company intends to test through a maiden drill campaign.

While the company works toward its inaugural drill program, technical teams are refining target areas across eight zones, including the Uryco-Rosa and Black Zone trends. CEO Steven Gold stated that the grades reinforce the company's initial assessment of the historic district's value. Because the surface samples were selective and targeted areas of visible mineralization, the company emphasizes that these results are not representative of overall grade distribution or economic viability, and further exploration is required to establish the project's true resource potential.
