During her tenure there, she spearheaded a new business unit focused on improving access outcomes. Her resume also includes leadership roles at Ardelyx, where she managed the launch of patient services for a novel nephrology medication, as well as tenures at Zealand Pharma, Akebia Therapeutics, and Cencora’s Lash Group.
Lauren Cole Tapped to Lead Commercial Strategy at Valeris
Lauren Cole has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer at Valeris, joining the commercialization partner to bridge the gap between market access and patient services. Reporting to Chief Commercial Officer Scott Filosi, Cole arrives as the firm looks to unify its internal teams to minimize friction in the patient experience.
Scott Filosi emphasized that the hire aims to align the company’s commercial strategy, market access, and innovation teams under one playbook. For her part, Cole noted that her focus remains on dismantling the operational silos that frequently impede patient care. Valeris, which supports over 500 life sciences companies from its dual headquarters in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Morrisville, North Carolina, intends for this leadership addition to accelerate its capacity to deliver integrated healthcare solutions.
