The series, which tracks the bond between two friends exploring identity and cosmetics, will transition from the page to the screen.

The story centers on Mido Kenshiro, a boy who harbors a secret passion for cosmetics. His life shifts when he begins applying makeup to his childhood friend, Hiura, sparking a journey of self-discovery for both characters. Since its debut on the digital platform comic POOL, the manga has garnered significant acclaim, securing top positions in the WEB Manga General Election and AnimeJapan’s 2024 list of titles fans most want to see animated.

Banjo expressed gratitude toward the fanbase that sustained the series, noting that seeing the characters animated is a long-held professional dream. To commemorate the announcement, an official X account has launched to track production updates and future release details. Seven Seas Entertainment continues to handle the English publication of the series, with the eleventh volume scheduled for release on November 17, 2026.
