Pollo Campero Revives Queso Lineup for Fall Menu

Responding to persistent customer demand, Pollo Campero is bringing back its signature queso for a limited-time run. The expansion, dubbed the Everything Queso menu, moves beyond a standalone sandwich to integrate the creamy topping and bacon across several core side dishes at locations nationwide.

The centerpiece of the rollout is the Queso Bacon Chicken Sandwich, which pairs the brand’s standard fried chicken with a velvety queso sauce and crispy bacon on a toasted brioche bun. Beyond the sandwich, the chain is offering the queso and bacon combination as a premium topping for both its traditional french fries and its yuca fries. A standalone portion of the queso is also available for those looking to customize other menu items.

Karla Patino, vice president of marketing and sales, noted that the decision to expand the offering followed direct feedback from guests who had been requesting the return of the sandwich since its previous departure from the menu. The new items are currently available at participating restaurants across the United States, as well as through the brand’s mobile application and third-party delivery services.
