Revenues reached $261 million for the first six months of the year, bolstered by a 153.9% increase in sales to American customers. This growth reflects the operational scale-up at the company's Texas facility, which is nearing the completion of a second solar module production line expected to go online in September. Once fully operational, the Humble campus will reach a total module manufacturing capacity of 2 GW.
Despite the strong financial performance, CEO Takahiko Onozuka noted that the company is navigating a volatile policy landscape. TOYO is currently in discussions with the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding a framework for Section 232 polysilicon determinations. While the company maintains that its focus on non-FEOC supply chains and domestic production aligns with federal onshoring goals, management acknowledged that the ultimate impact of these policy shifts on second-half results remains uncertain.
