Hyve Solutions to Build Dual Manufacturing Hubs in Nevada

Hyve Solutions, a subsidiary of TD SYNNEX, is launching two advanced manufacturing campuses in Reno and North Las Vegas, a move projected to create 3,000 jobs. The facilities will focus on producing hardware for AI, cloud, and digital infrastructure, marking a significant expansion of Nevada's technology sector.

The Reno site will function as the company's flagship location, spanning roughly 624,000 square feet. A secondary facility in North Las Vegas will anchor the company’s presence in the southern part of the state. These campuses are expected to house a diverse range of roles, including engineering, production, quality control, and supply chain management, with compensation packages exceeding Nevada’s current average wage of $32.86 per hour.

Governor Joe Lombardo cited the state's business-friendly climate and reduced bureaucratic hurdles as primary drivers for the investment. The expansion aligns with Nevada's broader efforts to diversify its economy by attracting high-tech manufacturing, complementing existing regional investments in semiconductor and battery production. Hyve Solutions president Jerry Kagele noted that the move provides the necessary space and workforce capacity to meet increasing demand for AI-related hardware.

Support for the project was facilitated by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, alongside regional partners Northern NV Now and the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. While the state does not provide upfront cash incentives, Hyve may qualify for performance-based tax abatements tied to verifiable economic impact. Recruitment efforts are currently underway, with the company drawing on local university talent and the existing workforce to staff the new operations.
