Ellory Frick Brunkhorst Named President of Frick’s Quality Meats

After 25 years embedded in the operations of the 130-year-old family business, Ellory Frick Brunkhorst is set to take the helm as president of Frick’s Quality Meats. She succeeds her father, Dave Frick, who guided the Missouri-based producer of smoked meats through three decades of expansion and modernization.

Starting on the production floor at age 15, Brunkhorst has rotated through nearly every department, including product development and strategic branding. Her tenure leading up to this promotion saw the implementation of clean label initiatives and successful efforts to raise wages for plant employees. These moves were designed to align the company’s traditional artisan craftsmanship with the shifting habits of modern consumers.

Dave Frick, who assumed the presidency in 1996, will transition to a role on the Board of Directors. In this capacity, he plans to focus on facilities expansion and mentoring the company's leadership team. Brunkhorst will officially step into her new role on September 1, 2026, tasked with balancing the firm’s long-standing heritage with the need for continued growth in a competitive retail landscape across 48 states.
