The event, hosted by nonprofit JumpStart Inc. at the Huntington Convention Center on September 29–30, 2026, aims to move beyond traditional tech hype. Organizers have curated a roster of speakers from across the country, including hubs like Palo Alto and Austin, to discuss the practical application of frontier technologies and the future of the healthtech sector.

Smith, a Euclid, Ohio native, will close the conference on September 30. His session will draw on his transition from professional football to the tech world, specifically his experience building Fan Huddle—a digital health platform that secured a landmark deal with the NFLPA’s venture arm. His presence highlights the event's broader focus on resilience and the mechanics of building sustainable companies outside of traditional coastal power centers.

Programming spans two primary themes: artificial intelligence and the industrial economy on the first day, followed by healthtech and ecosystem development on the second. Beyond panel discussions, the schedule features targeted matchmaking sessions where founders, investors, and corporate partners will engage in curated 1:1 meetings. Registrations for these connections close on September 7. The event is supported by key regional partners, including the Burton D. Morgan Foundation and Thompson Hine LLP, with technology executive Dr. Tonjia Coverdale serving as the event emcee.
