Prevail Bank Taps Jack Henry to Modernize Operations with AI
Medford-based Prevail Bank is shifting its technological infrastructure to Jack Henry, aiming to bolster its competitive edge against larger financial institutions and fintechs. The mutual bank plans to leverage an open ecosystem and AI-driven tools to drive deposit growth, enhance fraud detection, and streamline internal workflows across its Wisconsin markets.

Fraud protection remains a primary focus of the transition. Prevail Bank will implement Jack Henry’s Financial Crimes Defender, which utilizes AI to assist in drafting Suspicious Activity Report narratives. According to bank president Nathan Quinnell, this automation saves investigators at least one hour per case, allowing staff to reallocate time toward more complex security threats. The bank’s leadership emphasized that Jack Henry’s ability to integrate with over 1,000 third-party fintechs was a deciding factor, providing the flexibility to adopt new capabilities without being locked into a closed system.
