bswift Debuts Managed Services to Scale Channel Partner Operations

Chicago-based bswift is launching a managed delivery model designed to help channel partners expand their benefits administration reach. By offloading implementation and ongoing operational tasks to bswift, partners can bypass the need to increase internal headcount while maintaining their existing client relationships and strategic advisory roles.

Historically, firms looking to grow their benefits administration business faced a rigid dilemma: invest heavily in internal operational teams or cap their growth potential. The new Managed Services model removes this barrier by allowing partners to retain commercial ownership of their clients while bswift handles the technical configuration, integrations, and administration.

According to Sue Thompson, Chief Growth Officer at bswift, the initiative provides partners the necessary backing to manage increasing client demand and complexity without compromising service levels. The model operates alongside existing options, including the AI-powered bswift Simplify tool for smaller groups, allowing firms to choose their preferred level of delivery ownership.

Sharon Morrissey, SVP of channel partnerships, noted that the structure is built on four core principles: consistency, quality, transparency, and alignment. By standardizing the delivery framework, bswift aims to eliminate the friction often associated with implementation delays. This approach enables partners to leverage additional resources, such as COBRA administration and the bswift Service Center, ensuring scalability while keeping the focus firmly on client strategy and relationship management.
