Radiology Pioneer Lawrence Tanenbaum Joins Subtle Medical Leadership
After five years as a strategic advisor, neuroradiologist Lawrence N. Tanenbaum has been named Executive Medical Director and Chair of the Medical Advisory Board at Subtle Medical. This appointment signals a push to bridge the gap between complex artificial intelligence research and practical, high-volume clinical imaging workflows.
At Subtle Medical, Tanenbaum will collaborate with Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer Dr. Enhao Gong to oversee clinical strategy and product development. Having previously championed the deployment of SubtleMR™ across hundreds of scanners, Tanenbaum intends to focus on validating new technologies that offer measurable improvements for both practitioners and patients. The company currently maintains 11 FDA-cleared products and operates across more than 1,500 imaging systems, a footprint Tanenbaum is expected to expand as the organization scales its platform.
