The TR1 functions as a dual-form robot, shifting from an autonomous whole-home washer to a handheld cleaner in one second. This design targets the limitations of traditional robotic cleaners that often struggle with sudden spills or dried stains. Beyond its hardware, the company is highlighting the integration of its EvoMate™ OS, an AI agent experience powered by D-Robotics Sunrise™ X5 chips. Unlike systems restricted to rigid voice commands, this software interprets natural language requests to identify and execute cleaning tasks without requiring complex mapping or manual menu settings.
xLean Brings Transformable AI Floor-Cleaning Robot to IFA 2026
After securing $2 million from over 2,000 Kickstarter backers, xLean Robotics is set to demonstrate its TR1 floor-washing system at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The device, which earned multiple design accolades, promises to bridge the gap between autonomous home maintenance and the immediate need for manual spill cleanup.
Following its success in the crowdfunding market, xLean is using the IFA platform to court European distributors and retailers. The company plans to showcase new customization options, such as the Space Silver finish and laser-engraved top covers, reflecting feedback from its early user base. Live demonstrations of the robot’s intent-recognition capabilities will be available at ShowStoppers on September 3 and at Booth 11.1-129 throughout the main exhibition.
