Peter J. Pitts, former FDA Associate Commissioner and current Executive Chairman at BrainStorm, is slated to deliver two keynote addresses at the Dubai World Trade Centre. His presentations will focus on the potential for an FDA Abraham Accords Office to harmonize international clinical trial standards and a proposal to restructure NIH research grant models to better facilitate collaboration between academic institutions and commercial biotech developers. Beyond his keynotes, Pitts will moderate sessions on translational pharmaceutical innovation and the evolving clinical responsibilities of pharmacists in modern healthcare.
BrainStorm Leadership to Headline DUPHAT 2026 in Dubai
BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics executive leadership, including CEO Chaim Lebovits and Executive Chairman Peter J. Pitts, will head to the 31st Dubai International Pharmaceuticals & Technologies Conference from August 25 to 27, 2026, to discuss the future of neurodegenerative disease treatment and global regulatory policy.

While the conference serves as a platform for scientific dialogue, the company’s executive team is using the three-day event to conduct a series of high-level meetings. President and CEO Chaim Lebovits intends to engage with regional health regulators, distribution partners, and international investors. These discussions center on the strategic positioning of the company’s NurOwn platform as it approaches a Phase 3b ENDURANCE trial, currently operating under a Special Protocol Assessment with the U.S. FDA. The trip marks a significant push by BrainStorm to bolster its global presence and secure partnerships across the Middle East as it works toward a planned NASDAQ uplisting.
