By establishing a physical presence in New York, the hub provides Indian researchers direct access to a network that includes the Georgia Institute of Technology, Rutgers University, and the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Aseem Chauhan, Chairman of the AGRH, stated that the platform is designed to move beyond traditional academic boundaries, creating a pipeline that carries research from discovery to commercial application.
Amity University Opens Global Research Hub in New York
At the Consulate General of India in New York, the Amity Global Research Hub officially opened its doors on August 21, 2026. The new platform aims to bridge the research and innovation ecosystems of India and the United States, focusing on collaborative solutions for emerging technological and societal challenges.

Strategic focus areas for the hub include artificial intelligence, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable energy. Dr. Sandeep Mittan, Director of the AGRH, noted that the facility will specifically prioritize opportunities for young scientists and entrepreneurs to integrate into international research networks. By fostering these multi-sector partnerships, the university intends to translate theoretical knowledge into tangible outcomes, effectively aligning the growing scientific capabilities of India with the robust entrepreneurial landscape of the United States.
