JinkoSolar Names Wei Du Chief Executive Officer
JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. announced a leadership transition on August 26, 2026, as Xiande Li stepped down from his role as chief executive officer. Wei "Dimi" Du, previously the company’s vice president of strategic investment, assumes the top executive position effective immediately to oversee daily operations and capital allocation.
Du brings a background in finance and strategic investment to the role. Before joining JinkoSolar in late 2021, he held positions at Jinko Power Technology and Shanghai Yuyuan Tourist Mart. He holds degrees from the University of Bristol and Imperial College London. In his new capacity, Du intends to focus on operational quality and the expansion of the company’s core solar and energy storage divisions.
