Sam's Club Joins InComm OTC Network for Health Benefit Payments

Health plan members can now utilize supplemental benefit cards at Sam's Club locations across the United States. Through a new partnership with InComm Payments, the warehouse retailer has integrated into the OTC Network, allowing users to apply plan-sponsored funds toward groceries, medications, and various wellness products in-store.

The integration covers participants in Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and other programs that leverage InComm Healthcare’s restricted-spend cards, including the Dual Network Benefit Card. This card allows plans to consolidate multiple reward and benefit programs into a single payment method. By joining the network, Sam's Club joins over 85,000 existing retail locations currently processing billions of dollars in supplemental health funds annually.

Joe Donato, Senior Vice President and General Manager at InComm Healthcare, noted that the move is designed to reduce friction for members by expanding the utility of their benefits at a familiar retailer. While the arrangement broadens purchasing options for essentials like nutritious foods and over-the-counter medications, the benefits are strictly limited to physical club locations. Users should note that these cards remain ineligible for payment through the Sam's Club Scan & Go digital checkout system.
