The company’s CRO segment reached RMB405.1 million in revenue, supported by a growing client base of 1,984 companies. A significant portion of this activity involves the integration of artificial intelligence into drug discovery. By June 30, 2026, Viva Biotech had delivered over 108,000 protein structures, with AI-empowered projects now accounting for 14% of total CRO revenue. The launch of the MARS multimodal algorithm platform aims to further refine peptide and complex macrocycle design, reinforcing the company’s "dry-wet closed-loop" research model.
Viva Biotech Reports 21% Revenue Surge Driven by CDMO Expansion
Viva Biotech Holdings Group reported revenue of RMB1.01 billion for the first half of 2026, marking a 21% year-on-year increase. The growth was primarily propelled by the commercial scaling of its Langhua Pharmaceutical CDMO division, even as the company navigated a decline in overall net profit due to shifting investment returns.

Langhua Pharmaceutical, the group's CDMO arm, served as the primary engine for top-line growth, recording RMB601.4 million in revenue—a 47% jump compared to the previous year. This performance was anchored by two key projects: one peptide initiative entering commercial production and a small-molecule project reaching the process performance qualification (PPQ) stage. Having achieved profitability in its CMC segment, the group is now expanding production capacity by an additional 400 cubic meters to accommodate future demand. Meanwhile, the company successfully exited several incubation portfolio companies, generating RMB218.4 million in cash proceeds to be reinvested into its pipeline of 93 incubated start-ups.
