Blockchain.com Joins TP ICAP Fusion Digital Assets as Liquidity Partner

Blockchain.com has signed on as a liquidity partner for TP ICAP’s Fusion Digital Assets, becoming one of the first firms to utilize the platform's new matched principal trading model. This move integrates the crypto-native firm into a venue designed to bridge the gap between traditional finance and digital asset markets.

The partnership allows institutional clients to trade Bitcoin, Ether, and XRP with increased capital efficiency, as the matched principal model removes the need for prefunding. By acting as an investment-grade credit intermediary, TP ICAP aims to streamline operations and align crypto trading more closely with established financial standards. According to Marc Sischka, Vice President and Global Head of OTC Trading at Blockchain.com, the collaboration is a strategic step in providing the execution quality and reliability necessary for large-scale institutional participation. Chay Pollard, Director of Digital Assets E-Broking at TP ICAP, noted that the addition of Blockchain.com’s liquidity and global reach complements the venue’s existing client base. This integration follows a significant growth period for Fusion Digital Assets, which surpassed $1 billion in monthly notional traded volume during 2025. Looking ahead, the platform plans to expand its tradable universe to include SOL, stablecoins like USDC, and eventually tokenized real-world assets. The venue is also moving toward continuous weekday trading to meet rising institutional demand for around-the-clock market access.
