Witt described the appointment as a rare opportunity to serve those who sacrifice for the country, noting the personal significance of the mission. At Northrop Grumman, Witt oversees corporate energy, risk functions, and safety initiatives. He holds engineering degrees from the University of Michigan and Michigan State University, alongside an MBA from Northwood University.
