Crescent Crown operates four major distribution hubs in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Thibodaux, providing access to roughly 8,000 retail and on-premise accounts. The distributor, which expanded its portfolio to include spirits in 2023, delivers over 30 million cases of beverages annually across its Louisiana and Arizona territories. For Bayou Rum, the move serves as the anchor for a broader U.S. market relaunch.
Bayou Rum Shifts Home Market Distribution to Crescent Crown
Louisiana Spirits LLC, the producer behind Bayou Rum, has appointed family-owned Crescent Crown Distributing to handle its home state market. The partnership, which takes effect immediately with the first shipments moving today, marks a strategic effort to align the Lacassine-based distillery with a local distribution network across South Louisiana.
The brand recently overhauled its flagship White and Spiced expressions, shifting to a blend of pot and column still spirits. This transition coincides with the installation of a high-speed bottling line in Lacassine capable of processing 3,600 bottles per hour. Master Distiller Reiniel Vicente Diaz noted that the updated recipes aim for a bolder character while maintaining the distillery's reliance on sugarcane sourced from local fields and molasses from M.A. Patout & Son, the nation's oldest family-owned sugar mill.
