After nine years of collaboration, broadband provider WideOpenWest and the Augusta GreenJackets are expanding their joint community initiatives across the Central Savannah River Area. The partnership focuses on local education support, teacher recognition programs, and family-oriented events designed to bridge the gap between classroom needs and regional entertainment.
Beyond individual recognition, the organizations collaborated with SRP Federal Credit Union and United Way of the CSRA to execute the annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive. This effort transitioned into a broader community celebration this season, incorporating interactive activities like Dinosaur Day and pre-game events on the field. According to Brandon Greene, general manager of the GreenJackets, the longevity of the partnership has allowed both entities to move past traditional sponsorship roles to foster deeper engagement with Augusta families.
