SKYWORTH Upgrades Art TV Lineup with New C2 Canvas Model

For years, the Art TV category forced a compromise between aesthetic design and high-end image quality. SKYWORTH is now attempting to bridge that gap with the launch of its C2 Canvas Art TV, a new model that brings the display specifications of the company’s flagship elite line to a broader audience.

The C2 model, available in 55, 65, and 75-inch sizes, incorporates the company’s proprietary True QD-Mini LED technology and OmniView Matte Screen. By integrating 400 local dimming zones and hitting 1,000 nits of peak brightness, the device moves away from the edge-lit QLED panels that typically define the category. According to Michael Gleason, Director of Sales for SKYWORTH USA, the goal was to prevent the image from washing out during cinematic viewing, a common pain point for existing art-focused displays.

Beyond visual performance, the hardware is built for custom integration. The unit supports drivers for platforms like Control4 and Crestron and features a modular bezel system developed with Hydro Frames to allow for custom finishes. The technical package is rounded out by a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and integrated subwoofers compatible with Dolby Atmos. SKYWORTH plans to showcase the new hardware at the CEDIA Expo 2026, where final pricing and regional availability will be confirmed for its dealer network.
