The event, dubbed Bonfire in the Bottoms, serves as the seasonal kickoff for the Festival of the Full Moon. Visitors can navigate expansive warehouses filled with vintage furniture, architectural salvage, and retro collectibles before heading outdoors to join the communal fires. The atmosphere blends a traditional neighborhood gathering with a retail treasure hunt, featuring a sidewalk sale spanning more than 30 storefronts.
Beyond the shopping, the district is leaning into early fall aesthetics. The Full Moon Street Bar will serve seasonal cocktails and mocktails, while food trucks and local institutions like Chef J BBQ and West Bottoms Whiskey provide refreshments. Attendees can also expect live street entertainment and appearances by costumed characters from the Beast and Edge of Hell haunts. According to spokesperson Amber Arnett-Bequeaith, the event marks a distinct shift in the district's energy as it pivots toward the Halloween season.
