Elbit Systems Secures $270 Million International Defense Contract
Elbit Systems has finalized a $270 million agreement to provide advanced intelligence, surveillance, and targeting payloads to an undisclosed international customer. The deal, which covers a six-year delivery period, reinforces the Israeli manufacturer's role in supplying high-definition, AI-integrated optics for airborne, naval, and ground platforms worldwide.
In addition to the SPECTRO line, the company will supply its AMPS NG systems. These units are designed for strategic missions requiring extreme long-range acquisition and highly accurate geo-location capabilities. Bezhalel Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems, noted that these technologies are essential for modern armed forces looking to enhance situational awareness and mission effectiveness.
