The system processes sensor fusion directly on the board rather than relying on a host computer. By integrating inertial data with dual-antenna, RTK-compatible GNSS and additional aiding sensors, NavigationGate provides continuous velocity, position, and attitude data via CAN and RS422 interfaces. According to OSCP founder and CEO Kazem Zandi, the product addresses a critical continuity gap for customers facing increasingly severe satellite outages.
OSCP Debuts NavigationGate to Combat GNSS Signal Interference
With up to 38 percent of European air traffic now navigating regions plagued by radio-frequency interference, Montréal-based OSCP has launched NavigationGate. The new processing unit transforms the company’s inertial measurement units into full-scale inertial navigation systems, ensuring platforms maintain precise positioning when satellite signals vanish.

Designed to pair with the company’s MK2 IMU family—including the photonic MK2E2 and navigational-grade MK2Z—the unit offers a significant performance boost over standard MEMS alternatives. In a recent 21-minute test conducted under satellite-denied conditions, the system achieved a drift of just 5.7 metres, compared to 20.5 metres for a MEMS unit. Measuring 75.5 by 58.5 by 30 millimetres, the hardware operates on 12 to 34 volts and is available in both a standard housing and a board-level OEM variant. The ITAR-free technology is currently open for pre-orders, with all manufacturing based in Montréal.
