High school culinary and management programs now have a path to secure $5,000 in funding through the 2026 Rachael Ray ProStart Grow Grants. The initiative, a partnership between the Rachael Ray Foundation and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, aims to bolster classroom resources and expand vocational opportunities for students.
ProStart serves as a pipeline into the restaurant and hospitality sector, which currently ranks as the nation’s second-largest private employer. The curriculum combines 400 hours of practical work experience with core management and culinary training. Applications for the 2026 cycle must be submitted by September 24, with final award recipients scheduled for notification in late October.
