The massive undertaking involves moving 1.8 million cubic yards of earth and installing 54,000 linear feet of utility infrastructure. Work will be self-performed by ALGC alongside Allied Paving Contractors, a firm Cardinal expects to acquire by the end of the fourth quarter. The site will feature a 1.5 million-square-foot building pad and significant asphalt paving requirements totaling 83,000 yards.

Lee Wood, President of Georgia Operations for Cardinal, noted that the project underscores the company's ability to handle complex industrial logistics work. According to Chief Operating Officer Benji Wood, the integration of Allied Paving is a calculated move to expand turnkey operations in the region. The Carnesville development is projected to create more than 1,000 local jobs, positioning the facility as a significant contributor to the area's economic growth.
